PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a stroboscopic device which can be circumvent from being damaged and contaminated, due to contact with other members by preventing a stroboscopic light-emitting surface from being exposed during transportation, or the like. SOLUTION: The stroboscopic device 1 includes: its stroboscopic body 2, provided with a stroboscopic shoe part 5 for attachment to a camera shoe part on a lower side; a stroboscopic light-emitting part 10, provided with the stroboscopic light-emitting surface 11 connected to one wall surface part on the upper side in the stroboscopic body 2; and a light-emitting part rotating mechanism part 20 making the stroboscopic light-emitting part 10 turn over a stroboscopic light irradiation position, where the side of the stroboscopic light-emitting surface 11 exists and a housing position, where the side of the stroboscopic light-emitting surface is concealed on the wall surface part side of the stroboscopic body 2.
