PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an ultrasonic probe which enables a person who diagnoses to view an oscillation range of an acoustic element in a dim environment to use. SOLUTION: Light emitting bodies 1-4 are attached to the acoustic element 11 in a manner to project a light emitting path to a surface of a window 12 along with the oscillation of the acoustic element 11. When the acoustic element 11 oscillates in a diagnosing environment close to a dark room, the light-emitting bodies 1-4 also oscillate with the acoustic element 11, and the light output from the light-emitting bodies 1-4 penetrates through the window 12 and is produced on a window surface as a linear path in an oscillation angle range.
