PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a multiple device management method and a system that executes commands on one controller computer such as in a data center, to initiate operation on controlled computers containing agent software. SOLUTION: A controller 202 communicates with nodes using a message format, and provides a schema to represent available nodes in the data center, their organizations into sets, and results of ongoing and completed operations.
