PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a rotating shaft member supporting structure for actualizing smooth rotation of a rotating shaft member while preventing the contact of the inner ring of a second bearing with an annular member during the rotation of the rotating shaft member. SOLUTION: A second case member 12 has a fitting hole 12b extending along the axial direction of a first counter gear shaft 18, and a protruded portion 12c protruded from the fitting hole 12b in the axial direction of the first counter gear shaft 18. The bearing 21 has the inner ring 29 having an inner peripheral face fitted to an outer peripheral portion of the first counter gear shaft 18, and an outer ring 31 connected to the inner ring 29 via a ball member 30, and having an outer peripheral face fitted to the fitting hole 12b and one axial end abutting on the protruded portion 12c via a shim 32. The inner ring 29 of the bearing 21 has an extending portion 29a extending relative to the outer ring 31 outward in the axial direction.
