PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a paper sheet selling device for reliably selling only a designated number of desired kind of paper sheets. SOLUTION: In taking out a sheet of tickets A adsorbed and held by an adsorption piece 16b provided perpendicular to a take-out unit 16a of a take-out device 16 from each housing box 14 on a load table 15 built in a paper sheet selling device 1, a pair of separation plates 14d, 14d fitted to an opening part 14a of the housing box 14 is pushed out to take out the sheet of tickets A adsorbed and held by the adsorption piece 16d from the housing box 14. Since the pair of separation plates 14d, 14d are engaged with a short line side end part facing the sheet of tickets A on the lower side housed by the housing box 14, the sheet of tickets A on the lower side housed by the housing box 14 are reliably separated from the sheet of tickets A adsorbed and held by the adsorption piece 16d.
