PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a double head grinding machine having a simple constitution to adjust the interval of guide rails. SOLUTION: A pair of guide rails 13 for guiding and moving a workpiece W are arranged in parallel between opposed surfaces of a pair of rotary grinding tools arranged in opposed states. A pair of adjusting mechanisms to adjust the intervals of both the guide rails 13 are provided at both end parts of the guide rails 13. A pair of driving cylinders 29 are arranged corresponding to each of the adjusting mechanisms. In a piston rod 29a of each of the driving cylinders 29, pressing levers 30 are located at a center part and are oscillatably connected. A connecting mechanism 32 constituted of a lever 33, a rod 34 and a fastening member 35 is provided between both the end parts of each of the pressing levers 30 and end parts of both the guide rails 13. The connecting mechanism 32 is operated via the pressing levers 30 by driving the driving cylinders 29.
