<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable a person who receives a receipt to correctly input prescribed items necessary for accounting, into an existing financial management program and housekeeping book program in a short period of time by printing the items on a receipt as image data. <P>SOLUTION: A receipt issuing device encodes information including at least one of an issue date, name or title of an issuer, amount of purchase and a country number of a commodity, issuer unique number, issue number, details, name of a recipient, tax category, consumption tax rate, amount of consumption tax, and account title, and prints the information on a receipt as image data.
