PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve response to start recording after finishing reproduction and to reduce seek noise recording at the beginning of recording. SOLUTION: When finishing recording on a recording medium (10), the controller (22) stores the starting position of the next recording on the recording medium (10) in the data memory (20).
