PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a lens driving device which prevents the feed screw from being incorrectly assembled so that it is meshed with a screw valley adjacent to one to be originally meshed with when the feed screw is assembled, in the case where the lens driving device to move a lens holding frame in an axial direction through a rack to get meshed with the feed screw formed on the output shaft of a driving means includes pressing parts to hold a rack regular tooth to get meshed with the feed screw and the feed screw 8a between them elastically and opposite to each other through an energizing part 17a, and the rack includes a tooth shape to be meshed with the feed screw in the pressing part 18g. SOLUTION: In the rack 18 constituting the lens driving device, a guide part 18h to guide pressing teeth 18b provided in the pressing part 18g to a normal meshed position is formed in the pressing part 18g of the rack when assembling the feed screw 8a, even if pressing teeth 18b to hold the feed screw 8a of the rack 18 between them opposite to each other falls inward by an energizing part 17a.
