PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To inexpensively provide a video acquiring device for performing underwater recognition even in underwater work independent of water turbidity and luminance in turbid water or night for monitoring or the like for underwater security. SOLUTION: The video acquiring device includes: a wave transmission unit for transmitting an ultrasonic wave different in frequency in an azimuth direction; a fixed lens for fixing a position; a movable lens for adjusting a relative distance with the fixed lens; a sound lens for converging a reflection wave from an object of the ultrasonic wave transmitted from the wave transmission unit; a wave receiving unit for arranging a plurality of wave receiving elements slender in an azimuth direction in a vertical direction; a signal processor for processing the signal of a reflection wave acquired from the wave receiving unit; and a display means for displaying information obtained by the signal processor.
