PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To remove a stubborn sticking deposit of an existing pipeline. SOLUTION: A cleaning apparatus for a drain pipe MP is constituted by connecting a suction apparatus 1 to the lower end of the existing drain pipe MP, connecting an abrasive charging apparatus 3 to the upper end, arranging a cleaning auxiliary implement 5 mounted with a wire rod 15, in the drain pipe MP, and exfoliating and removing the sticking deposit P on the inner surface of the drain pipe MP with abrasives G sucked into the drain pipe MP and the auxiliary implement 5. The auxiliary implement 5 includes a rotating joint 16 mountable to the wire rod 5, and a rotation body 17 having blades 18, 18a, etc. is connected in a freely movable manner to the lower part of the rotating joint 16. The rotation body 17 is thereby offset outside the rotational center of the rotating joint 16 by centrifugal force during its rotation and rotary motion and turning motion is put in for the rotation body 17 to chip the sticking deposit P little by little with the rotating blades 18, 18a, etc. pressed to the sticking deposit P.
