<p>A portable terminal equipped with a rotary push button and an item converting/selecting method using the same are provided to reduce the number of equipped input units and facilitate the manipulation. A rotary push button(30) performs a simple rotation input, an accelerated rotation input and a push input. A display unit(20) displays a plurality of items which have equal relation including selected one item. If the push input is sensed, a controller(60) performs an operation corresponding to the selected item. If the simple rotation input is sensed, the controller sequentially converts an item corresponding to the rotation angle of the rotary push button in the rotating direction of the rotary push button.</p> |
