<p>A manufacturing method of an optical waveguide device is provided to increase a cutting speed by forming a core and a clad layer by an epoxy resin composite. A laminate is formed by forming a film body(2) on a top part of a substrate(1). The film body includes a part(20) for forming one or more optical waveguides. The substrate is laminated on the film body. The laminate is punched by a blade. An optical waveguide device is formed by obtaining a part for forming the optical waveguide of the film body together with a part of a substrate corresponding to the part for forming the optical waveguide. The blade used in a punching process has an arithmetic average roughness less than 0.02um. A cutting process through the punching is performed from the substrate side.</p> |
