A road improvement estimation method and an estimation apparatus thereof using a standard design for improving the availability of accomplishment data are provided to implement the APT approximation estimate of a structure. A receiving unit(210) receives information about reference drawing corresponding to a respective household comprising the building. An extracting unit(230) extracts each object numeric information included in the canonical chart from the information about the canonical chart. The extracting unit extracts the material quantity information of the material used according to each object included in the canonical chart from the predetermined database. An estimate unit(240) enforces the approximation estimate about the canonical chart based on the numeric information and material quantity information.
