<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To safely and smoothly perform cleaning work of a gasoline tank 1. <P>SOLUTION: Residual liquid (a) is extracted from the gasoline tank 1, each pipe coming out of the tank 1 is closed and cut off and the tank 1 is sealed, and inert gas b is sealed in the tank 1 to avoid explosion by vapor c. Then, water is supplied to the tank 1 for filling up and is discharged, the filling and discharge work is repeated to remove residual oil and residues in the tank 1. Then, the tank 1 inside is cleaned by spraying water by a nozzle 41, and the vapor c is extracted from the cleaned tank 1 and mixed and adsorbed into circulating adsorbing liquid d to remove the residual vapor c in the tank 1. The vapor c is mixed with the adsorbing liquid d by a line mixer 32.
