<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an election management terminal apparatus, a method of providing a password for electronic voting, an authentication system and an authentication method by which the leakage of the password for electronic voting can be prevented, and an elector can surely recognize the password for electronic voting. Ž<P>SOLUTION: A share image file generation part 10d generates a plurality of share image files from a password for electronic voting by a designated visual decoding type secret distribution method, and any share image file is applied to a postal matter addressed to an elector by a mail postcard attaching part 10g, and the other share image files are transmitted to a voting terminal 20 of the elector by a providing part 10i. The selector performs a simple operation to overlap the mailed share image file and the share image file transmitted to the terminal equipment of the elector to acquire the password for electronic voting.
