An advertising image generator, display device including the same and driving method thereof are provided to output selectively the image for advertisement by a user. The image for advertisement generator(200) comprises the signal detection unit(210) and horizontal sync-signal counter(230). The signal detection unit detects the vertical synchronizing signal(Vsync) which is input from outside. The horizontal sync-signal counter counts the horizontal synchronization signal(Hsync) inputted after the detection of the vertical synchronizing signal. The image generator for advertisement more includes the vertical synchronizing signal counter(220), and the address generation part(240) and image storage part(250). |
