A shell base foundation is provided to secure the safety on the construction and to make more economic construction possible. A shell base foundation comprises a body part(110) and a top part(120) integrally formed with the upper part of the body part. The body part is conical shape and shell plate form inclining downward to the radial direction and installed in order to buried in the inside of the ground(400). The upper part of the body part is formed in order to be extended and protruded to the upward of the body part as a member of the pillar type.
