A METHOD FOR PREPARING LITHOSPERMUM ERYTHRORHIZON EXTRACTS COMPRISING STABILIZED LITHOSPERMIC ACID

A method for preparing Radix lithospermi extract containing stabilized lithospermic acid is provided to stably maintain the content of lithospermic acid included in the Radix lithospermi extract. A method for preparing Radix lithospermi extract comprises the following steps of: extracting Radix lithospermi in a hydrophilic organic solvent to prepare Radix lithospermi extract containing lithospermic acid; vacuum-concentrating the Radix lithospermi extract; and adding cyclodextrin to the Radix lithospermi concentrate. The hydrophilic organic solvent is 70-78% ethanol. The weight ratio of the hydrophilic organic solvent is 3.0-3.6 times the amount of Radix lithospermi. The extraction temperature is 78-82°C. The Radix lithospermi concentrate contains 0.4-1.7wt% of lithospermic acid. The vacuum-concentration is performed until the solid content becomes 20-50% at 40-80°C.
