A turning table (1) is provided with a driving source (2); a work holding section for holding a work worked by a tool; a power transmitting mechanism (3) which can transmit power from the driving source (2) to the work holding section; and a load mechanism (30), which can operate the power transmitting mechanism (3) in a loaded status and applies a prescribed load to the power transmitting mechanism (3) while the work is being worked.
