METHOD FOR ENVELOPMENT CASTING

A method for envelopment casting which comprises a setting step of setting a n article to be enveloped by a cast material comprising an aluminum alloy or a n aluminum base composite material in a mold, a magnesium coating step of supplying a gasified magnesium into the mold to coat the article with magnesium, a magnesium nitride forming step of supplying a nitrogen gas into the mold to react the nitrogen gas with the above applied magnesium to form magnesium nitride, and then introducing a molten aluminum alloy into the mol d, to envelop the article with the aluminum alloy.
