A terminal in which an online game is possible using multiple OS mode and a control method thereof are provided to fundamentally remove possibility of hacking which is predicted or generated in an online game. While the first OS(Operating System) is executed, a signal for converting the first OS into the second OS is applied(S701,S702). When the signal is applied, an operation of the terminal is deactivated(S703). After the terminal is deactivated, the operation of the terminal is activated again(S704). During the activation process, the second OS which activates only restriction mode for a dedicated online game is executed(S705). An online game is executed on the executed second OS(S706). |
