A mold manufacturing method for an optical film manufacturing mold is provided to give a secondary shape of uniform depth from a curved surface when a mold having a three-dimensional shape using a laser machining method. A mold manufacturing method for an optical film manufacturing mold comprises following steps. A cubic structure(25) is processed by using a laser on the surface of a mold. The surface of the mold is a plane or an uneven surface. The cubic structure has a protrusion shape, a convex lens shape or a combined shape of a protrusion and a convex lens.
