摘要 An EGR cooler temperature monitoring method is provided to exclude the assembly cost or additional component cost because the problem of the EGR cooler is sensed through the temperature of the EGR cooler presumed through the outputs of the sensors which the vehicles are equipped. An EGR cooler temperature monitoring method is as follows. A map data about the output value of the air mass flow sensor are established(S101). In the engine of vehicle on operation, an atmosphere temperature sensor of a vehicle, a cooling water temperature sensor, an engine RPM sensor and an air mass flow sensor are input(S103). Output data of the air mass flow sensor specified with the inputted atmosphere temperature sensor, and the engine RPM sensor and cooling water temperature sensor is read(S105). The output of the air mass flow sensor inputted to output data and sensor value input stage of the air mass flow sensor selected from mapping data is compared. Whether the inputted output data of the air mass flow sensor is within a certain range of the output of the air mass flow sensor selected from mapping data is determined(S107). When the inputted output of the air mass flow sensor is beyond a certain range of the output data of the air mass flow sensor selected from mapping data, the warning lamp is turned on(S109).
