An apparatus and a method for encoding signaling information in a wireless digital broadcasting system are provided to divide signaling information by the number of the same input bits to perform LDPC(Low Density Parity Check) encoding, thereby efficiently performing encoding. A scheduler(602) inputs a state about data stored in a data buffer(601). The scheduler performs scheduling about the input state. The scheduling result is inputted into a P2 information generator(603). The P2 information generator produces concrete field values. Output of the P2 information generator is inputted to an LDPC encoder(606) according to control of a controller(605). Output of the LDPC encoder is inputted to a P2 transmitter.
