The method involves emitting a temperature measuring command (C) by a load management server (14) of a computer processor i.e. microprocessor, and transmitting, via a data transmission network, the command to a motherboard management controller i.e. baseboard management controller (20i), of a computer. Temperature information measured using a sensor placed on the computer processor is extracted. Computing load information of the computer processor is estimated from the extracted temperature information. Independent claims are also included for the following: (1) a method for selecting a computer processor from a computing system comprising computer processors (2) a computer system for determining computing load of a computer processor (3) a computer program product comprising instructions for implementing a determination method.
