The implant (30) has an implant body implanted in a fibrous ring of an intervertebral disk so as to adjacently implant the body to a pulposus nucleus. The body comprises a core zone (32) and a peripheral wall zone (34) made of hydrogel and silicone type material. The body has elasticity module gradient and is formed of material e.g. woven fabric, which is made of ultra high molecular weight polyethylene, polyethylene terephthalate and metallic fibers. The gradient is such that an elasticity module progressively varies from the core zone towards the wall zone of the body. An independent claim is also included for an implant for augmentation or replacement of natural pulposus nucleus in an intervertebral space.
