WATERPROOF AGENT FOR A FACING SURFACE CONTAINING POLYMETHYLSILOXANE SOLUTION AND A METHOD OF WATERPROOF AT A FACING SURFACE USING THE SAME

An inorganic penetrative waterproof agent is provided to be deeply infiltrated on the concrete surface and to keep a waterproof function when the concrete is damaged by external impact. A polymethylsiloxane solution is prepared by; hydrolyzing tetraethyl ortho silicate in a solvent in the presence of a neutral surfactant with hydrochloric acid and phosphoric acid; and further performing hydrolysis by adding dichlorodimethylsilane and hydrochloric acid. The solvent consists of 95 weight% or more of C1-4 lower alcohol and the balance of water. The neutral surfactant is selected from polyoxyethylene octylphenyl ether, polyethylene oxide, polypropylene oxide and polyethylene glycol.
