THE WATERMARKING SYSTEM USING DITHERING TECHNIQUE AND HUMAN VISUAL MODEL

A video watermarking system using the dithering technique and human visual model is provided to simplify the human visual modeling and applying the dithering technique for non visual property, thereby improving the recognition quality of a watermarked video. A watermark embedding module(100) comprises the followings: a pattern generator(110) for forming a basic pattern; a dithering unit(130) for reducing the artifact to improve the visual quality of a low frequency watermark; and a watermark embedding unit(150) for adding the dithered watermark to a host video frame and outputting a watermarked frame.
