A resonator color conversion EL device and an organic EL display using the same are provided to increase intensity of the converted light from a light conversion layer by forming the color conversion layer between a pair of reflective layers. A resonator color conversion EL device includes a pair of electrodes, a functional layer(30), a color conversion layer(40), and a pair of reflective layers. A pair of electrodes includes a transparent electrode(22) and a reflective electrode(21). The functional layer is positioned between the pair of electrodes. The functional layer includes a light emitting layer. The color conversion layer absorbs the light emitted from the light emitting layer and discharges the light with different wavelength. The light emitting layer and the color conversion layer are positioned between the pair of reflective layers. The pair of reflective layers includes a non-transparent reflective layer(51) and a semi-transparent reflective layer(52).
