An electro-fusion connecting apparatus is provided to prevent main pipes separating from the socket joint due to contraction, by connecting electro-fusion bands of the main pipes using a bolt. An electro-fusion connecting apparatus comprises a socket member(6), first and second electro-fusion ring bands(10,12), first and second flanges(14,16), and a band connecting bolt(18). The socket member connects the ends of two pipes. A packing is mounted on the inner surface of the socket member in order to maintain airtightness. The first and second electro-fusion ring bands are fitted to the exterior of the pipes, and have electric heating wires to be electrically fused on the surface of the pipes. The first and second flanges are protruded on the outer circumference of the first and second electro-fusion ring bands, and have screw holes(14a,16a) in the center. The band connecting bolt is mounted through the screw holes of the first and second flanges, thereby preventing the pipes separating from the socket member.
