EXTRACTION METHOD OF PROCYANDIN FROM SEED SKIN OF GRAPE THROUGH MULTISTEP EXTRACTION AND DECOMPRESSION

A method for extracting an antioxidant from a grape seed is provided to reduce process cost of by-product by isolating proanthocyanidin and environmental pollution. A method for extracting an antioxidant from a grape seed comprises: a step of pulverizing grape seed and treating with hexane; a step of steaming the grape seed in 20% ethanol at 70°C~80°C for three hours; a step of decompressing under 55°C to extract; a step of suspending with distilled water; and a step of decompressing under 50°C to obtain procyanidin.
