#CMT# #/CMT# The control system for the part-output voltages from a three-point boost converter (2) has a superior control unit to provide nominal values for the upper and lower part-voltages. A supply stage (3) for the boost converter generates a direct voltage between a positive (10) and a negative (11) output clip as the input voltage. An upper part-output voltage control circuit (5) forms a nominal value (48) for the recharging power of an upper output circuit with the voltage of the upper output condenser (16). A similar control circuit (6) forms a nominal value (49) for recharging the lower output condenser (24). A nominal value setting unit (7) forms a defined input voltage nominal value (77) as a nominal value for the direct voltage from the two nominal values for recharging the upper and lower output circuits. An underlying current control circuit (8) is used to form a total switch voltage (96) from the defined input voltage nominal value. The relative switch time of the power transistors (18,27) is formed taking into account the actual output voltage values (46,66). #CMT#USE : #/CMT# The system is for control of the part-output voltages from a three-point boost converter. #CMT#ADVANTAGE : #/CMT# The input current is controlled to give a low current loading on the power semiconductors. #CMT#DESCRIPTION OF DRAWINGS : #/CMT# The drawing shows a circuit diagram of the boost converter. 2 : three-point boost converter 3 : supply stage 5,6 : upper/lower part-voltage control circuits 7 : nominal value setting unit 8 : current control circuit 10,11 : positive/negative output clips 16,24 : upper/lower output condensers 18,27 : power transistors 46,66 : actual output voltage values 48,49 : upper/lower recharging nominal values 77 : defined input voltage nominal value 96 : total switch voltage. |
