The system has a stationary bike trainer frame (5) that is provided with an adjustable brake unit (4) placed in frictional contact with a tread on a bicycle wheel (3). A computer is provided with an operating console for setting-up positioning parameter of the brake unit, where the computer is integrated into a control console (1) having detachable brackets for placing the control console on handlebars of a bicycle (2). The computer and the brake unit are equipped for wireless communication with each other.
