METHOD FOR SEPARATION OF E,E-DIMETHYLCYLCLOHEXANE STEREOISOMER FROM MIXTURES OF DIMETHYLCYCLOHEXANE STEREOISOMER BY GUANIDINIUM ORTHO-TERPHENYL 4,4'-DISULFONATE HOST

A method for separating e,e-dimethylcylclohexane stereoisomer is provided to refine an e,e-dimethylcylclohexane stereoisomer with high efficiency and high purity by using a guanidinium o-terphenyl 4,4'-disulfonate as a host molecule. A method for separating e,e-dimethylcylclohexane stereoisomer using selective inclusion ability of guanidinium o-terphenyl 4,4'-disulfonate comprises the steps of: mixing guanidinium o-terphenyl 4,4'-disulfonate of chemical formula 1 in mixtures of dimethylcyclohexane stereoisomer; and separating the stereoisomer by filtering the reactant. The mixtures of dimethylcyclohexane stereoisomer are a mixture of cis-1,2-dimethylcyclohexane and trans-1,2-dimethylcyclohexane, a mixture of cis-1,3-dimethylcyclohexane and trans-1,3-dimethylcyclohexane, and a mixture of cis-1,4-dimethylcyclohexane and trans-1,4-dimethylcyclohexane.
