METHOD FOR PROCESSING BITUMINOUS ROOFING MATERIAL AND PLANT THEREFOR

The invention relates to building engineering, in particular, to utilization of used roofing covers, processed components of which can be used at roofing repair works, as well as at road repairs and production of new bituminous-containing materials. A plant for processing bituminous roofing materials comprises a machine for cutting refuse roofing bitumen-containing materials to pieces, a conveyor for feeding pieces to the disintegrator, a means against sticking bitumen to the disintegrator working elements, a unit for sorting disintegrated material comprising a multifaceted rotating drum and outer perforated walls therein, a tubular casing for connecting the disintegrator cavities and the sorting unit, a unit for collecting dust-like bitumen with air reflectors and a unit for discharging of purified air, an air duct between the sorting unit and the unit of dust-like bitumen collection, storage tanks for bitumen powder, dust-like bitumen and disintegrated bitumen cardboard, a unit for melting the bitumen powder and dust-like bitumen. A novel inventive feature is characterized in that the plant further comprises a mixing and producing cold primer unit, another unit for producing hot primer, one more unit for producing a mixture for use as a lower roofing underlay, a unit for pressing disintegrated bitumen cardboard and finally a unit for producing roll roofing material, the plant has dosage meters for forming the required batches of all components and feeding them to appropriate units, the disintegrator working shaft is embodied shortened, its drive, a kinematical connection, a protective enclosure and a tight cover are positioned in the upper part, and the connecting tubular casing is arranged vertically and straight in configuration; both sorting unit and unit for collecting dust-like bitumen are positioned in a two-section chamber; the multifaceted rotating drum of the sorting unit is provided with several sets of outer quick-detachable perforated walls with different hole sizes, smaller or greater, adapted to produce bitumen powder of fine and coarse fractions, wherein each said wall is made from a steel sheet with increased life time.
