A system, a server and a method for reducing position determination error of a mobile communication terminal in a GPS shadow area are provided to grasp a location of a mobile communication terminal through the first and second position determination. A position determination server(140) compares the first position determination result with the second position determination result. The position determination server selects a final position determination result having best accuracy. A location center(130) transmits a location inquiry request message to the position determination server. The location center receives the location inquiry request message to transmit the final position determination result. An LBS(Location Based Service) platform(150) transmits a location system request message to the location center. The LBS platform receives the final position determination result from the location center.
