The panel (5) has a rigid module (9) turned towards the exterior of a motor vehicle, and extending opposite to an external body element (3) i.e. lamination, of a side opening e.g. front side opening, of the vehicle. A decorative trim (11) is turned towards interior of a motor vehicle, and hides the module, where the trim is provided with a main zone (19) and a decorative medallion (21). A fixation unit (13) e.g. screw, fixes the trim on the module, and permits the disassembling and reassembling of the medallion with respect to the module, independent from the main zone. An independent claim is also included for a method for manufacturing a motor vehicle.
