The system has a placement head with a support including reception/retaining units for receiving/retaining a hinge, and a gripping element i.e. clip, for gripping the hinge. The clip is movable between a gripping position for gripping the hinge on the support and a placement position for placing the hinge on object. The clip has fingers desynchronized for placing one of the fingers in a position in which the fingers are separated with respect to each other for releasing the hinge and a grip position in which one of the fingers presses the hinge against the other finger.
