AUTOMATIC CONTROL SYSTEM AND THE METHOD OF ELECTRIC RAILWAY BASED GROUND CONTROL

An automatic control system of a train based on a ground control and a method thereof are provided to secure safety of a passenger on a platform by remotely controlling and monitoring a train on a ground. An automatic control system of a train includes a ground control unit(100) and an on-board control unit(200). The ground control unit monitors a state of a train(10), and controls an operation of the train. The ground control unit includes a ground terminal(110), a ground information processor(120), and a ground RF transceiver(130). The on-board control unit is installed in the train. The on-board control unit transmits a control signal received from the ground control unit to a train control device. The train control unit transmits state information of the train received from the train control device to the ground control unit.
