摘要 A negative electrode for a lithium secondary battery is provided to uniformly form a LiF-based coating layer generated on the surface of the negative electrode by side reaction of LiPF6 in a rechargeable procedure of battery. A negative electrode for a lithium secondary battery comprises a negative electrode and a coating layer formed with LiF-based particles on the surface of the negative electrode. The thickness of the LiF-based coating layer is 0.05~1 micron. A method for manufacturing the negative electrode for a lithium secondary battery comprises the steps of: (i) dissolving LiPF6 in carbonate-organic solvent to prepare electrolyte and dipping the negative electrode in the electrolyte to form 3 electrode cell or 2 electrode cell; and (ii) forming a coating layer formed with LiF-based particles generated on the surface of the negative electrode by applying voltage or current.
