A defogging device 100 for mirrors is disclosed herein. In a described embodiment, the defogging device 100 comprises a copper plate 102 configured to be attached to a rear surface of a mirror 200, and a copper pipe 104 for carrying water from a hot water unit, and arranged to be removably attached to the copper plate 102. The copper plate 102 includes a channel 108 configured to at least partially embed the copper pipe 104. A method for installing the defogging device is also disclosed.
