<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a reliable gas sensor where a storage section securing waterproofness is attached to a connector. <P>SOLUTION: The storage section 10 comprises a semiconductor recording medium 11, a wiring board 12 mounted with the semiconductor recording medium 11, a lead wire 13 joined to the wiring board 12 through a joint 15, in order to output the data stored in the semiconductor recording medium 11, and a housing case 14 for housing the wiring board 12. The storage section 10 has a cylindrical sealing rubber 17 for covering the radial periphery of the lead wire 13. An insertion hole 18, into which the sealing rubber 17 is inserted, is formed in the housing case 14. The diameter of the insertion hole 18 is set at a length where the inner periphery of the insertion hole 18 can compress the sealing rubber 17 from the outer periphery thereof, when the sealing rubber 17 of the covering state of the lead wire 13 is inserted into the insertion hole 18.
