<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a marine propulsion system capable of bringing both performance of acceleration and maximum speed closer to the performance demanded by a user. <P>SOLUTION: The marine propulsion system is equipped with an engine 31, propellers 32a, 32b rotated by driving of the engine 31, a shift mechanism part 33 capable of transmitting the driving force of the engine 31 to the propellers 32a, 32b in a state of shifting to at least a low-speed moderating ratio and a high-speed moderating ratio at the time of advancing/retreating, and a gear-switching switch 5b operated by the user for shifting the moderating ratio of the shift mechanism part 33 to the low-speed moderating ratio while at least retreating. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT |
