<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide wadding fibers hardly making the shape of a resin appear in a face side fabric without causing unevennesses on the surface of the face side fabric, having excellent appearance of the face side fabric, capable of maintaining a high-class feeing, and having excellent heat retaining properties even after lamination onto the face side fabric in relation to the wadding fibers used by lamination onto the face side fabric. <P>SOLUTION: The wadding fibers have a dense fiber layer in which constituent fibers having 0.5-3 dtex average fineness are bound, and a thermoplastic resin having a melting point of 150°C or less, irregularly sticks to one of the surfaces of the dense fiber layer. The wadding fibers have 2-30 mm thickness. Furthermore, a method for producing the wadding fibers includes a step of smoothing at least the one surface of a dense fiber web having an average fineness of constituent fibers of 0.5-3 dtex by heat-pressing, and forming a smooth surface, a step of coating the one of the surfaces with a dispersion of the thermoplastic resin having a melting point of 150°C or less by spraying, and a step of binding the constituent fibers of the dense fiber web. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT |
