PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a photopolymerizable composition having high sensitivity to light with a wavelength of 365 nm or 405 nm and having high stability over time, and providing a cured film which can suppress discoloration in heating over time, and to provide a new oxime compound suitably used in the photopolymerizable composition.

SOLUTION: Provided is the new compound represented by general formula (1), and the photopolymerizable composition characterized by comprising the new compound and the polymerizable compounds. (In the formula, R and B are each independently a monovalent substituent, A is a divalent organic group and Ar is an aryl group).
