摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve correction precision of an own vehicle without generating increase of unnecessary processing load, increase of consumption power or the like. SOLUTION: A navigation device includes: calculating a plurality of the own vehicle position candidate points (step S10); detecting the position of the own vehicle by calculating reliability to each candidate point (step S20); then, determining whether it satisfies a prescribed camera operation condition (step S30); outputting a camera operation command when determining that it satisfies the camera operation condition as the result (step S40) and obtaining image information in a camera; outputting a camera stop command when determining that it does not satisfy the camera operation condition (step S60) and prohibiting acquisition of image information due to the camera; and correcting the detected position of the own vehicle based on image information obtained by the camera (step S70-S90).
