PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a new and improved communication device, communication system, and communication method that reliably correct errors without adding redundant data. SOLUTION: The communication device includes: a packet transmission section 602 for transmitting a packet to other communication devices connected thereto via a wireless communication network 400; a packet reception section 604 which, after transmitting the packet, receives a normal reception packet which indicates that it includes normally received a packet from the communication devices to which it transmitted the packet; a timer 608 for counting the time elapsed after the transmission of the packet; and a packet retransmission section 606 which retransmits the packet if the normal reception packet includes not been received within a predetermined period of time after the transmission of the packet.
