PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain characteristics of high and stable deflection sensitivity, when manufacturing a piezoelectric composition pressure sensitive body by kneading piezoelectric ceramic powder having microdomain, mixingly with an organic polymer. SOLUTION: This piezoelectric element is constituted of the piezoelectric composition pressure sensitive body 1 prepared by mixing both the piezoelectric ceramic powder 3 having microdomain with an average particle size larger than 2μm and≤50 nm, and a piezoelectric ceramic powder 4 having an average particle size of≤2μm and having a coating layer, with the flexible organic polymer 5. The piezoelectric element has, in particular, high deflection sensitivity, reduced characteristic dispersion, and excellent reliability, as a result thereof. COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT
