PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a driving system for measuring instruments that allows a user to instantaneously determine a measuring instrument on which a setting operation has been performed, when performing function setting, on the basis of individual instrument, by further improving a driving system for after-meters, wherein it is supposed that a plurality of measuring instruments are disposed. SOLUTION: This driving system for measuring instruments has a function which is settable for each of a plurality of measuring instruments 2 and 3 disposed. A control unit 1 is provided for transmitting object assortment data that denote the assortment of setting operation for the function, when the setting operation is performed for the function, to respective instruments 2 and 3. Respective measuring instruments 2 and 3 are used for comparing the assortment data received from the control unit 1 with own assortment data, to change the display luminance of a display part, depending on whether the setting operation for the function has been performed on itself.
